For the past 6 years, I have tried to participate semi-successfully in the Goodreads reading challenges. However, 2021 was an extremely slow year, and 2022 started similarly, so my birthday present to myself was a Kindle. And in the last 4 months of 2022, I knocked out 23 books. This year, I decided to try something different:
A different goal, different tracking apps (StoryGraph and TBR-Bookshelf), and a different challenge altogether. I found The Nerdy Bookworm's 50 Books A Year Reading Challenge as I was browsing the internet, and it made sense to me. However, following the theme of stress-free self-love, I will be taking the challenge loosely, meaning, I will strive to read 50 books, taking the prompts in The Nerdy Bookworm's challenge as guidance, and the number of books I finish by the end of the year can be less than 50, or maybe more.Β
